Job: Sales Representative

JOB SUMMARY

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000 DOE + Commission

Working with potential customers and others in the industry to identify potential construction projects that fit the capabilities of Central Confinement Systems. Working with those prospective customers to develop their individual needs. Partnering with CCS estimating / project management to prepare the construction proposal. Reviewing proposal with customer and eventually closing the sale.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicating with industry integrators and producers to identify potential construction projects.
• Working with customer to outline the best solution and value for their needs
• Communicating project needs to estimating / project management team
• Presenting solutions and closing sales with customers
• Developing and communicating value proposition
• Working trade shows
• Travel when necessary including some overnights
• Working “partnering” with CCS team members for the success of all
• Track, work, and update all potential projects in sales pipeline continuously
• Forecast future project orders 30-60-90 days out
• Weekly lead and project reports
• Weekly expense reports
• Cold calling

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills
• Livestock Industry knowledge
• Swine Building knowledge (preferred)
• Experience in AG Sector (preferred)
• Self-starter
• Great attitude
• Microsoft Office experience
• CRM System (preferred)
• Aptitude in problem solving and critical thinking
• Time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to ask for the order
