Essential Job Functions:

1. The Site Superintendent’s responsibility includes the overall day-to-day supervision of field related construction and remodeling activities for one or a number of locally grouped projects.
2. directing craft personnel and subcontractors
3. interfacing with client to insure their satisfaction
4. overseeing individual projects to assure compliance with the scope and quality as established by the contract documents
5. enforcement of site cleanliness, safety, health, and substance abuse programs
6. pro-actively anticipating and solving problems that could delay construction
7. physically inspecting projects to monitor progress and compliance with project standards
8. maintaining QC/QA files and updating as-built drawings
9. attending and conducting regularly scheduled progress meetings.

Skills Required To Perform The Duties of the Job:

1. Complete understanding of all phases of construction
2. Ability to schedule and multitask
3. Good organization, written and oral communication skills
4. Travel required.

Education and Qualifications:

• A basic degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
• Must provide two or more professional references.
• 3-5 years Construction Superintendent experience

Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required:

• Driver’s License,  Good driving record
• 10 Hr OSHA Certification

Physical Requirements Necessary to Perform the Duties of the Job:

1. Ability to walk without much difficulty on rough terrain, or in muddy conditions.
2. Ability to work in various weather conditions from extreme heat, rain, snow, or cold weather.
3. Requires reasonably good vision and hearing.
4. Bending. Upper and lower back extremities.
5. Stooping. Bending legs and lower back extremities.
6. Reaching. Pulling upper and lower extremities.
